koobig is a free calculator site that makes Korean pay and everyday calculations easy to check.

What we offer

Take-home pay, severance pay, minimum wage and weekly holiday pay calculators for people working in Korea, plus everyday tools such as the Korean age calculator, pyeong converter and BMI. Everything is free, needs no registration, and runs in your browser, so the values you enter are not sent to our server.

How we calculate

Pay, tax and social insurance calculations follow the rates and rules published by the National Pension Service, National Health Insurance Service, Ministry of Employment and Labor and National Tax Service. Table pages state their assumptions, such as a KRW 200,000 monthly meal allowance and one dependent, and your result will differ if your situation differs.

When rates or rules change we update the calculators and guides, and each page shows its last update date.
